Monument to the Sardineras
In the "Cuesta del Barrigón", just opposite the tourist office, a statue has been erected in honor of the Sardineras de Lastres. It depicts an old lady, a fisherwoman, carrying a metal bucket over her head. It was created in 2007 by the sculptor J. Zaratiegui from green metal oxide. Behind the statue, is the shield of Lastres on the cobbled pavement.
