War hero tribute
In the fields of Doune, close to the Bridge of Allan and Dunblane is a tribute to Archibald David Stirling, a hero of World War II, born in the area and who saved many lives. It is not easy to find this place as it is in the middle of nowhere, but maybe this means something. The place is lovely and the views are incredible (see my corner "Doune Fields"), which in some ways could symbolize the spirit of this fighter. Although I have been living here for a while, I found this area by chance. Occasionally its nice to see that some are appointed heroes for saving lives and not killing them.
