Monument to Antonio Granjo
This monument is at the end of the avenue of the same name, just opposite the old railway station, in the center of a roundabout. It's a fountain surrounded by a small garden, on which the bronze statue dedicated to António Joaquim Granjo stands. This character was a Portuguese lawyer, politician and founder of the Liberal Republican Party and Minister of Justice. He was killed, along with other Republicans, on the "Bloody Night" in 1921.
