Alcide de Gasperi Monument

Piazza Venezia is one of the biggest and most central open stages in the city of Trento. There are very pretty public gardens frequented by students, families with children and groups of friends. To the side of the gardens, overlooking the square, there is a monument to Alcide de Gasperi, the Trentino statesmen. Erected in 1955, the sculpture celebrates justice, diplomacy and faith. There's also a fountain with a very interesting mosaic depicting the coats of arms of some Italian cities.
