1st Memorial Christmas tree
It seems a little strange to make a monument to the first Christmas tree ... if it weren't fact for the fact that the first Christmas tree in Riga was way back in 1510! It stood in the centre of the city, and today there is a memorial plaque on the ground, in the shape (more or less) of a spruce.
