Montrichard

Montrichard is a beautiful village in the Loire Valley. Like most of the towns and cities in this area, it has its own castle, which is also the largest tourist attraction in the area. Although, regardless of its castle, it's worth stopping a couple of hours here even if it's only to stroll through the streets. It's a pretty town with the typical colored houses in the area. Other things to see in the town are the Town Hall and the Church of Montrichard. You can also see the Castle of Chenonceau with its Gallery of the Ladies, and the Castle of Cheverny. In fact, on the way between these two castles was where we discovered this town, and decided to go down to have a look.
