Monastery of Santo Domingo de Silos
The Monastery of Santo Domingo de Silos is a Benedictine abbey in Santo Domingo de Silos, in the province of Burgos, Spain. The cloister is one of the masterpieces of Spanish Romanesque design and it's the town's main attraction, along with the Gregorian chant of the monks, which has crossed the country's borders to become popular. The population, or the Ura Mataviejas, preserves an interesting monumental ruins of walls including some emblazoned houses, a Gothic church, the Museum of Earth Sounds, and musical instruments.
