These days, it's probably easier to find a noodle bar in New York than an authentic pasta place! If you're looking for noddles, there are literally dozens of options, some more authentic than others. My favorite, though, is Momofuku. They blend traditional flavors with modern techniques to produce the best ramen I've ever had, by far. David Chang, the chef behind Momofuku, is now regarded as a culinary revolutionary and has gone on to open other branches in places like Toronto and Sydney. Momofuko Ramen is the house specialty, but there are several other options all starting around $12.00. Besides the food, the ambiance is fun and casual with a large bar and communal tables.
