Mojiko Port
Mojiko port was one of the most important communication ports on Kyushu island, as it was the closest to Honshu island, which made it a passage for the flow of trade between the islands. Currently there is a tunnel for trains and cars crossing the strait, but it has since lost its significance. On a tourism level, you should shop around the area: Mojiko Station is the oldest on the island and is a mini replica of the old Termini Station in Rome which was very influential and can be seen in the architecture of the buildings. On the other hand, this port used to be one of the main points for the passage of bananas from Okinawa and Southeast Asia to Japan, so many people were connected to this product.
