Residence of a very influential family
This palace was the residence of a very influential family in Venice, the Mocenigo family. The facade is quite simple but the interior is decorated, you can cycle through all the rooms of the house with eighteenth century furniture and decorations still intact. The ceilings are decorated with frescoes and inside is the museum of fabric and dress where you can see the Vittorio Cini collection of curtains and religious fabrics. The palace belongs to the City so it's one of the museums that you can visit using a Venice Card.
