La Iglesia de la Ciudad
Construída cerca de 1700 esta iglesia fue construida cerca de la playa y más tarde reconstruida en su localidad actual hacia 1940 después de varias destrucciones que sufrió, desde inundaciones y ataques militares. Fue la misión por excelencia de los Jesuitas y sede de los mismos en lo que era conocido como la Vieja California. Los Pericués, tribus locales de Baja, la llamaban "Añuití" por ser la localidad donde se erigió. Como ven esta pequeña y simple iglesia goza de una amplia historia, como la famosa "rebelión de los pericués". Construda about 1700 this church was built near the beach and ms later rebuilt in its present location around 1940 after several destructions suffered from floods and military attacks. It was the ultimate mission of the Jesuits and host them in what was known as the Old California. The Pericus, local tribes of Baja, called it "Auit" for being the town where erected.
