4 reviews of Millionaire's Row Cruise

A lovely experience

Excellent

There are many options available for the tourist ve wants to go sightseeing on a boat in Biscayne Bay. We chose the Island Queen for $27 a head, which offered a 90-minute mini cruise of the bay, with views of the famous houses of millionaires. It's very touristy, but all in all, it was a lovely experience, with stunning views of the bay and the Miami skyline from the sea. Departures take place every hour, and are more frequent on the weekends, and the guide on board will point out the attractions that are worth seeing.

Along the way you'll see Star Island, with a villa that once belonged to Elizabeth Taylor, and another where a German architect has spent thousands of dollars installing air conditioning in the garden (!).

Then it's up to South Beach and Fisher Island, a small island where George Bush and Jennifer Lopez both have houses. It's also nice to see the shipyards of the city, but the highlight for me was the skyline of downtown Miami, even with dark clouds overhead. Near the end of the tour, the boat stops for about fifteen minutes so you can take pictures, and you can get a photo with the captain if you like!
