Military Museum

The Military Museum is inside the Keep of Bragança Castle, inside the Citadel. It is 5-storey with multiple small rooms displaying various items related to the world of the army, from the twelfth century until World War I: Weaponry (spears, guns, swords, pistols, rifles, etc.), flags, shields, armor, military uniforms, medals and badges of army officers, etc. The museum was founded in 1929 but moved to its current site in 1983. Entry is € 2 but Sunday mornings are free and the hours are Tuesday-Sunday, 9-12 and 14-17. July 9-18 and August 9-18.30.
