Mykonos Port

Il capoluogo di Mikonos è chiamato Chora, qua si trova il porto principale dell'isola. Vale davvero una visita i suoi colori e la sua vivacità riempiono il cuore!! Dal porto si possono vedere all'orizzonte i mulini famosissimi e simbolo della città. Nel porto si possono trovare coloratissime imbarcazioni di pescatori che si contrappongono ai lussuosi yachts dei turisti. Meravigliose sono le costruzioni cubiche e dall'intenso colore bianco quasi acciecante. Il contrasto con l'azzurro e con i vividi colori dei fiori è davvero d'impatto.

The main town of Mykonos is called Chora, here is the main port of the island. Really worth a visit its colors and its liveliness fill the heart! From the harbor you can see the windmills on the horizon and famous symbol of the city. In the harbor you can find colorful boats of fishermen who are opposed to the luxurious yachts of tourists. Marvelous are cubic constructions and an intense white color almost blinding. The contrast with the blue and the vivid colors of the flowers is really impact.

El puerto es un hermoso lugar para ir a comer pescado fresco, caminar por la playa a la puesta del sol y por las noches tomar un rico trago en alguno de los muchos bares con vista al mar. Recomiendo ir fuera de temporada para evitar mucho turismo, aunque la mayoría de los locales están cerrados o preparándose para la temporada alta. ¡El clima es muy agradable en mayo por ejemplo! Un maravilloso lugar para pasar tu estadía en Mykonos es sin duda Mama's Pensión. Todas las comodidades, vista a la playa y su dueña Kristina hace hasta lo imposible por que tu estadía sea maravillosa. Lo recomiendo y espero volver un día.

The port is a beautiful place to go to eat fresh fish, walk along the beach at sunset and at night take a drink in one of the many bars with sea view. I recommend going out of season to avoid much tourism, although most of the locals are closed or preparing for the high season. The weather is very nice in May for example! A wonderful place to spend your stay in Mykonos is definitely Mama"s Guesthouse. All amenities, view of the beach and its owner Kristina does everything possible to make your stay wonderful. I recommend it and hope to return one day.

Bellissimo posto, con una vasta scelta di ristoranti e molti negozi da visitare alla sera per fare un po di shopping.
