Meta Dos Leitoes

Meta Dos Leitoes, or the goal of the piglets in English, is one of the many typical regional restaurant in central Portugal. They specialize in a great dish of suckling pig accompanied by potatoes and lettuce. Supposedly, it's one of the best restaurants in the area of this specialty, but it also has a variety of other dishes to choose from. When we arrived, which wasn't late, the two dinning room restaurant was almost full. The original Meta dos Leitoes is next to another famous restaurant "Pedro dos Leitoes" and the road to Porto.
