Mesón Museo Ibérico Restaurant

There’s a few streets in the center of Mérida where you can find the majority of the bars are restaurants. They all have good prices and look great, but we chose Meseo Ibérico and I loved it!

First of all, it has a big menu – both for lunch and dinner – that costs about 10 € and is complete. It includes a first dish, second dish, drink and desert. Many of the dishes offered are traditional, like the Extramaduran “migas,’’ which we opted for. We also had the famous seafood paella as a first dish, and it was great, especially for being so far away from Valencia.

For the second dish, we had eggs with ham and hake with a flavorful sauce and salad. Fruit and rice pudding were our choices for desert.
