Merrivale Megaliths

Located in the west of the moors of Dartmoor, you can find Merrivale easily by following the trans-moor way to the outskirts of the little town of Princetown. Here you can visit a very interesting center of pagan worship, formed by huge granite megaliths that seem to emerge from the ground. You will see a circle of granite rocks, with a mysterious sunken hole at the center. In ancient times, this structure served as a Bronze Age burial mound.
