Mercat de Peix

Mahon center is largely reserved for pedestrians so it has the most commercial activity. In its steep streets, and in the magnificent square of Spain, we can see modernist buildings, such as Mir, and stately homes on the Calle Isabel II. Following the town center tour, we found the Mercat de Peix (fish market), almost as unique as the Citadel, built on a former stronghold of the eighteenth century.
