Mendon Ponds Park

Mendon Ponds is a spectacular park where you can enjoy walking, riding or cycling, kayaking, bird watching and deer spotting, and even cross-country skiing in winter. Just be careful with the kids, as many people walk their dogs off leash here. Just a fifteen minute drive from Rochester, Mendon Ponds Park is a must for its' ornithologists corner (you can see blue birds) and Monarch butterflies.
