Leaving Airvault (Gare) by Fief of money, after the heap of cement, one finds here a memorial in memory of the Polish military camps set up during the Second World War. Today there are only the marks on the ground of the former barracks and a cross erected in 1940 that was designed by a Polish officer. The camps reflects the strong history of the Second World War and the Polish presence reminds DNAS our regions.
