A somber reminder
The memorial of the Bali bombing, opened by Prince Charles in front of St. James Park, is a monument honoring the 202 victims from 21 countries who were murdered in the terrorist attack in the city of Kuta on October 12, 2002. It consists of a marble globe, 1.5 meters in diameter, on which 202 doves represent the victims, along with a stone wall where the name of each person killed has been written. This memorial is the work of Garry Breeze and Martin Cook.
