Megalithic monuments
Roses, in Girona, is a location that perfectly has beach, culture and historical tourism. One attractions is the Megalithic, you can take several routes. We struggled to find it because nothing was marked and it's in an area with many villas and barking dogs, you can not ask any neighbors because there's no one on the street. As the first you find dolmen, and then follow the path and see the megalithic monuments. The sets are well preserved in general. The views of the beach, Rose Bay and the town are quite nice because you see everything. Contact with nature is full, it is a joy to move from a tourist area to a path where you hardly see anybody.
It is pretty empty every day because it is a bit far from the city center and I recommend going by car because walking is a good way. No doubt, this is a summer destination, but if you have time go through Begur, it has a spectacular bays that dominate the region. Curiously, between Roses and Cadaqués I thought I saw a dolmen. I hope to go back one day.
