Nossa Senhora do Carmo Church

Built in 1892 by Franciscan missionaries, along with the city of Boa Vista, the church is built where there's been a former chapel of the Carmelite friars since 1725. The main church is one of the common postcards of Boa Vista. Inside, the walls are marble and with Portuguese tiled flooring. In 1921 the outside was renovated by Bishop Pedro Eggerath with features of German temples of religious origins.
