Villa Kiva Boutique Hotel

Matemwe Bungalows is very, very high on my list of favorite hotels in the world. It is a small boutique hotel on the east coast of Zanzibar, consisting of "cottages" that are independent with terrace overlooking a cliff. So I guess this doesn´t seem too impressive, but we're talking about luxury bungalows with 2 floors, with a double bed in each plant (day bed, bed at night). The terrace has a hammock for 2 people and from the cliff you can watch the sunrise while the people in fishing boats go out to sea and the fishermen's wives go to collect seaweed (seems to be sold at a good price in the markets of Tokyo, Japan).
