Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino

The Marriott is located in the most stately neighborhood, Zamalek, in Gezira. This hotel was opened with the inauguration of the Suez Canal, and all the famous people that were invited to the opening of the event stayed there. Kings and queens and top celebrities left their mark here, and today it´s one of the hotels in Cairo which attracts the most guests. It´s interesting to know that there is a hotel within the Casino where all the most influential people of modern-day Cairo go. I was lucky enough to stay overnight there several nights, and the truth it´s a very glamorous hotel.
