Most special place
One of the special places I visited in Morocco was this restaurant in the Maroc Lodge hotel in the small village of Amizmiz, 60 km from Marrakech in the south Atlas Mountains. It's worth hiring a grand taxi from the city to get there as this unusual place in nature will not leave you indifferent. It is a spectacular high-end restaurant, which can only be accessed by unpaved roads in the Atlas Mountains and surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation and absolute peace. It serves home-cooked typical Moroccan cuisine made with quality products. I recommend their delicious lamb tagine with dates or stuffed chicken.
The desserts are irresistible, especially the local tart made with oranges. You can eat outdoors while listening to the echo of the call to prayer from the mountain opposite. Prices are high for Morocco, but certainly worth it (about 20 euros/person). They serve alcohol, they are very welcoming and the service is excellent.
