A Tex-Mex experience

Great

The most interesting things about San Antonio lie in the fusion of Texan and Mexican culture. For example, Tex-Mex cuisine is widely available here: chili con carne, fajitas, burritos ... you can try these specialties at the market, El Mercado, west of downtown. Full of color and life, you'll see merchants in both sombreros and cowboy hats. A great place to visit with a margarita in one hand and a plate of nachos in the other!

+2

A happy atmosphere

Beautiful places, lots of people and a happy atmosphere. Bars and souvenir shops full of colorful objects, and the pavillion has AC during the summer. Try the Michelada, a cocktail of beer, Mexican spices, and lots of ice. There are terraces throughout the street. The only downside is that the shops close at 8. Highly recommended!

Lots of cultural things to see and great food and margaritas.

Excellent

Lots of shopping from Mexican vendors. Museums and in the heart of downtown. Close walk to river walk.
