Sala Mercado

Where the old market of Nerja used to stand, you'll find an interesting exhibition hall: Sala Mercado. After leaving the chapel, I saw a poster advertising a photography exhibition and I decided to go in to see what it was all about. What a surprise! There were no landscapes or artistic photos, but rather pictures of the candidates for the "Lord and Lady" of the Nerja Fair! As well as the pictures of the competitors, I also saw the crown that would be worn by the lady and her maids, and the laurel crowns for the Lord.
