Playa del Carmen Maritime Terminal

The Maritime Terminal in Playa del Carmen, is located in the city center, just off of 10th Avenue in the central area in the port. It's an important place because this is the terminal where you can catch the ferry to the island of Cozumel, which is only 18 kilometers away and is a must-see place given its proximity. This port's advantage is that you don't have to hire a tour to go to Cozumel because the ferry leaves daily as well as hourly and it's only a 45 minute boat ride to get there. The trip costs around 110 pesos. According to some, you can get to Cozumel by boats that do other paths, too, but I didn't really pay attention to that.
