Mario Gonçalves Carneiro Monument

This monument is right across from La Buvette and spa building of Caldas de Chaves. It's simply made up of a plaque and granite pedestal, on which stands the bronze bust of Mario Gonçalves Carneiro, medic, clinical director and promoter of the city baths. It was placed here on September 22, 1995 to commemorate the half century of clinical activity in Caldas de Chaves.
