The best boats
This is what we now call a marina. The best boats, the yacht club and the nerve center of the lake. The only difference is that this, the Srinagar, is how Alicante, Valencia or any other small European port would have been in the nineteenth century, or dare I say a few years earlier. No motors - just oars, no fiberglass boats - wood only, no water resistant paints, dyes and natural colors only. There is nothing quite like one of the marinas today. I give a "10" to this wonderful corner of the still more wonderful region of Kashmir.
