A lovely, sandy beach
It's difficult in Kent to find a North Sea beach that's both attractive and not too crowded. But Margate Beach is a lovely sandy beach, without the pebbles that many others have. It is of course stormed by tourists and locals alike during the summer, but we love its small bars, children's play area, and beautiful water.
