Mantua

Highly recommended for a short stay. A beautiful city with a medieval-style centre with cobbled streets. The centre is a 5-minute walk from the Mantova train station, and the city is crossed by the Mincio River, which forms two lakes. They can be reached on foot, ten minutes from the station. It's a lovely spot to go for a nice walk along the lake among the trees. The cathedral dome is particularly beautiful.
