Conveniently located
After the Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong, we went to Macao for a few days. This hotel has lots of charm, but it's not a patch on the Hong Kong branch. It's conveniently located right next to a luxury shopping mall (Bulgari, Chanel, Dior, Prada, Loewe ...) and a few steps from the Las Vegas-style casinos. It's a bit lacking in atmosphere. We had snacks at the bar, and ate at the Vida Rica restaurant: lovely food, but there weren't many diners. The service at least was impeccable.
