A relaxed atmosphere
Opened in 1999 with a parade of Harley-Davidsons, this hotel, operated by the MGM group, cost nearly a billion dollars and has over 3,300 rooms and 24 restaurants. It is a typical Caribbean hotel, with guests in flip flops, and a relaxed atmosphere. This is where Miss Universe took place in 2010. A free monorail connects it to the Luxor and Excalibur hotels. The top 5 floors of the building are operated by the Las Vegas Four Seasons Hotel. The property has 4.5 acres of artificial beaches and two thermal pools, a wave pool and an artificial river complete with waterfall. It has a saltwater aquarium with sharks (the 3rd largest water tank in the USA).
