Malga Geisler

Malga Geisler is a beautiful traditional wooden house, situated at 2000m beneath Sas Rigais. There is a restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating serving traditional food, including canedeli and for dessert a type of sugar coated omelette with cranberry sauce. It can reached in 90mins on foot from Malga Zannes. The most scenic path is the Aldof Munkel way but be careful as some sections can be icy.

The malga hires sledges and it is advisable to book in advance as it can be busy at the weekends. The toboggan run from the malga to the sledge drop off point in Santa Magdalena is 5km.
