It was a surprise to find Laduree in New York City, a welcomed one! And if you're in the Big Apple and want a taste of the world famous macaroons or simple a taste of France in NYC - this is the place to go! They fly in these macaroons fresh from Paris every other day, and they really are the gold standard in macaroons when it comes to taste. Perfect place for an occasional treat given it being a bit pricey but with some absolutely delicious flavors, my salted caramel, rose and black current included, it's worth the line up instead of having to fly all the way to Paris!
