Mahahual Beach
What can I say about this beach! It's in a state of purity and is a secluded beach to get lost and where you can forget it all and unwind. The crystal clear waters are blue and are protected by a the American continent's largest coral reef. It's a huge natural pool. You can swim to the reef and snorkel, or stroll along the long stretch of white sand collecting endless sponges, or just lie down, relax and enjoy the Caribbean sun and solitude. There are very few tourists so little infrastructure. Just a beach bar and a few chairs for rent near the lighthouse. Hopefully this will continue. It is a virgin beach with its pros and cons.
