Magdalen College

Le Magdalen College est l’une des 30 universités qui composent la prestigieuse institution d’Oxford. C’est l’une des plus riches et elle a été fondée en 1458 par l’archevêque de Winchester. L’endroit a eu des le début un chœur pour hommes qui est maintenant réputé dans tout le pays. C’est aussi l’un des plus jolis collèges, que l’on peut visiter. L’entrée est payante et il y a des visites guidées dans les immeubles et la chapelle. Le parc autour est grand, les élèves s’y promènent et y font du sport. Il y a même une foret avec des animaux. La chapelle dépend de l’église d’Angleterre, et le choeur y chante tous les jours sauf le mardi. Tu peux aussi y assister a la messe. On y enseigne la musique, le chant et l’art dramatique. Les anciens incluent Oscar Wilde, T.E. Lawrence et le roi Edward VIII.

The chapel depends on the Church of England, and the choir sings every day except Tuesday. You can also attend a mass. It teaches music, singing and drama. The former include Oscar Wilde, TE Lawrence and King Edward VIII.
