Madriz Hop Republic (Cervezas Madriz) - Closed

Madriz Hop Republic is a recently-opened craft beer and tapas joint on Calle Cardenal Cisneros in the increasingly beer-centric area between the Glorieta de Bilbao and Plaza Olavide. The bar is run by Cervezas Madriz, a local brewing company which sources its beers from master brewers in Germany and, according to the owner, one of Spain’s most famous brewmasters. The bar is crisp, clean, modern, and inviting, with floor to ceiling windows which let in plenty of light from the street, a bar boasting a solid number of taps (8 in total, I believe), an open kitchen, and a few small tables with stools if you feel like munching on something.
