Tide pools are everywhere
Mackworth Island really is unique. Trails wrap around the island for over two miles, with a park in the center. The shore of the island is almost pure rock, which is wicked fun to climb on. Tide pools are everywhere, and the seaweed washes up on shore. The beauty and strength of the ocean shows. There's nothing like the rocky coastline of Maine, and it's home to me.
