1 review of Mabel Lake Provincial Park

Stunning mountain setting

Mabel Lake is nestled in a stunning mountain setting far off the beaten track of the typical Okanagan hustle and bustle. There is no cell reception, no major roads nearby, and plenty of sandy beach to be explored. Campsites should be reserved well in advance, as the park is typically full in the peak season.

Amenities include a lakefront store, which sells everything from drinks and basic food items to fishing supplies to ice cream to ice and firewood. There are no public showers at the campground, but that didn’t bother us too much as we were only there for two nights and we were constantly in and out of the lake.

The most wonderful thing about this campground is definitely the lake. It is large enough to take boats on, the perfect temperature for swimming, and if you’re lucky you may even catch a few trout!
