Lytham St Annes Promenade
This area is lovely, with fountains, nineteenth century kiosks, parks, children's areas, artificial lakes and the main entrance to the dock or pier center. It is certainly popular with locals and with good reason as it offers leisurely and relaxed walks for about 2 miles. A little criticism is the absence of bars, restaurants and cafes in the area, as there are so many hotels on the pier(basically the hotels take advantage of the proximity to Blackpool) but not everything can be perfect. The promenade is lovely.
