Izmir Waterfront

Chi pensa a Smirne pensa immediatamente al suo lungomare, lunghissimo, suggestivo e pieno di ristoranti e locali che si affacciano sull'acqua. Il lungomare, chiamato "Kordon", è ormai l'emblema della città, uno dei luoghi assolutamente da visitare, anche se rimanete in città poche ore. Completamente rinnovato dal punto di vista architettonico, il lungo kordon è in parte chiuso al traffico. La restante parte può comunque essere comodamente percorsa utilizzando i larghi marciapiedi. Qui frotte di persone si accomodano ad uno dei numerosi bar e ristoranti per ammirare il tramonto, gustarci una cena a lume di candela, fare le ore piccole sorseggiando un cocktail.

Who thinks of Smyrna immediately think of its waterfront, long, fascinating and full of restaurants and bars that overlook the water. The promenade, called "Kordon", has become the emblem of the city, one of the must-see, even if you stay in the city a few hours. Completely renovated from the architectural point of view, the long kordon is partially closed to traffic. The remaining part can still be comfortably driven using the wide sidewalks. Here crowds of people sit down at one of the many bars and restaurants to watch the sunset, invited to enjoy a dinner by candlelight, until the small hours sipping a cocktail.
