Louvre Museum

This museum is a must, plain and simple. You don’t need to be an art expert by any means but you should decide what you want to see because the museum is huge and you could spend days on end there.

I recommend starting at the sculpture before moving on to the Egyptian section and finishing with the paintings you wish to see.

If you get there early, there shouldn't be any issues with the lines and remember that accredited disabled persons get in free of charge. There is a free wheelchair service at the Louvre and the whole museum is well-prepared.

The staff is very nice

In my opinion, the Louvre museum is one of the most important museums in the world and it's a" must see" when in Paris. Furthermore, the museum gives you a fantastic opportunity to admire not just fine arts, but also archaeology and decorative art.

Museum opening times are from 9:00 to 18:00 and on Wednesdays and Fridays, it closes at 21:45. Tickets are around 11€ and if you are planning to travel to Paris at high season, I would recommend to book a hotel close to the museum as it can be quite difficult to get around the

We didn't enter the museum since we're not art fans, but visiting the square itself was exciting. A must go!

Do not be greedy! Chose one wing one art form one work of art. Or get completely exhausted in one of the largest museums in the world.
