Partendo dal paesino di Los Navalucillos si estende una camminata quasi sempre su un sentiero ampio e di terra battuta. Si parte da quota 897m e ci si addentra in un sentiero forestale circondato di pini sino alla cima Carbonero (1122m). Alla cima Carbonero il paesaggio di pini si converte in un bosco di querce e bassi arbusti sino ad una cima poco piú alta che è il Portillo (1232m). Raggiungere fisicamente il totem geografico che segnala la vetta comporta una scalata piuttosto impegnativa ed aerea attraverso un gruppo di rocce.
Dalla cima si scende poi al torrente Cedena (850m) e si completa il percorso superando una montagna attraverso un sentiero diretto e particolarmente ripido, che peró è l'unico tratto impegnativo della camminata.
Starting from the village of Los Navalucillos extends almost always a walk on a wide path and dirt. It starts from an altitude of 897m and we enter a forest road surrounded by pine trees Carbonero to the summit (1122m). At the top Carbonero the landscape of pine trees is transformed into a forest of oak trees and low shrubs up to a little over the top which is the high Portillo (1232m). Physically reach the totem geographic indicating the summit involves a climb quite challenging and air through a group of rocks. From the top you descend to the river Cedena (850m) and completes the path past a mountain through a straight path and particularly steep, but it is the only challenging section of the walk.
