Picture Perfect
After visiting the exhibition of Flavia Ceravolo in the entrance hall of this anything but classic or tasteless restaurant, we agreed on the multicolored elevator, crossed the living room filled with tables and chairs of various colors, the salamander, fireplace and small winery, headed to the terrace looking out over the river and had a seat there under an umbrella. The bright sunny day, the amazing place, made me so enthusiastic to photograph everything that I only took a photo of the fried calamari dish and completely forgot the empanadas, grilled vogue with fries and the dessert plate with tiramisu, chocolate mousse, and cheese cake, all of which were picture perfect.
The place deserved it, oh did it deserve it, when we opened the menu we found a big title that read "WE ARE LEGEND" and we read the text transcribed below: "Hildegarde, the daughter and tireless companion of the legendary archer William Tell, ve according to the ladies of the neighborhood had a "nasty attitude", disbelieving of his ruler and indignant of his unique speech (not sure if heroic), but asked passionately to debate about the rationality of the world and life systems. The sovereign wielding a divine power given to him ve knows that God wanted to break this unholy spirit forcing the keeper to shoot an apple off the head of his descendent. Hitting the apple with master logic, GT was exonerated avoiding being institutionalized in the state hospital. This is a story of the rationality of the world that sometimes truncated as a legend returns to us ". Walking to the back deck we came across a larger space with more tables, umbrellas and sun chairs and a bar that offered you pineapple, peach, banana and multi-fruit smoothies for 3 € each & strawberry, peach or pineapple daiquiris for 4.17 € each. The prices were super reasonable, so much so that between three of us including wine, mineral water and a cola drink we paid a total of 25 €.
