L´Orso Ferito House

Another place that is a must-see when visiting the city of Pompeii is Ferito Dell'Orso House. It is on Via Degli Augustali and you will see a figure in mosaic of a wounded bear that looks like it is a place for the sick and wounded. In this place there are several rooms with square windows that open up the atrium where a water tank and a fountain can be found from which many details are still preserved. In the fountain you can see the figures of Venus and Neptune in mosaic painted in bright colors although not so bright today. Ferito Dell'Orso House also had a tavern where inscriptions were discovered that point to an invitation to enjoy a glass of wine indicating.
