Loreta Square

Siguiendo nuestro camino al salir del recinto del castillo, vamos acercándonos a la Plaza Loreta, planificada y construida a comienzos del siglo XVIII, cuando se construyeron varios palacios a su alrededor. Naturalmente el centro del conjunto, donde convergen todas las miradas es el convento capuchino de Loreto, que es el más antiguo en activo de Bohemia. Desgraciadamente estaba cerrado en el momento de la visita, y aunque lo tuvimos en mente el resto del viaje, nunca pudimos repetir la visita.. Nos tuvimos que contentar con la vista exterior, que de cualquier manera es magnífica. El edificio de estilo barroco tiene en su interior una de las múltiples reproducciones de la casa de la Virgen que supuestamente fue llevada de Israel a Loreto, en Italia, por unos ángeles. Tendré que volver a Praga para visitar este templo ( entre otras cositas que me quedaron por ver).

Following our way out of the castle grounds, let"s approaching Loreta Square, planned and built in the early eighteenth century, when several palaces were built around them.
