Lope de Vega Theatre

La verdad es que el pasado jueves 2 de febrero fue una de las tantas veces en las que he estado en el Teatro Lope de Vega, viendo esta vez el musical "El Rey León", las anteriores veces que estuve fue viendo otros musicales como: Los Miserables, Mamma Mía y High School Musical, aunque en él se han celebrado obras tan ilustres como La Bella y la Bestia, El Fantasma de la Ópera, Fama o Jesucristo Superstar. Es un teatro bastante grande en comparación con otros que hay en la capital, ya que tiene 1400 localidades. Personalmente destacaría su reforma del año 1997 en el que se mejoró muchísimo su acústica. En mi caso las entradas las tenía adquiridas desde hace más de 4 meses, pero si se quieren comprar la taquilla está abierta desde las 12,00 de la mañana hasta el comienzo de la función. La mejor manera de llegar al teatro es coger cualquiera de estas 3 líneas de metro: Santo Domingo en la línea 2, Callao en la línea 3 o Plaza España en las líneas 3 y 10.

El sitio es verdaderamente precioso. Desde que entré supe que iba a pasarlo muy bien. Primero porque la obra que fui a ver ya había escuchado grandes y muy buenas referencias, pero también por el sitio. Unos decorados hermosos, acentuados con una especie de cúpula al centro. Butacas bastante cómodas y una acústica genial. Supongo que gran parte de la magia se la da la obra que vayamos a ver, pero creo que el sitio es un ingrediente básico para que la interpretación sea un éxito. Sin duda alguna repetiré

The site is truly beautiful. Since I knew I was going to have a good time. First, because the work that I went to had heard great and very good references, but also by the site. Tuve la gran suerte de poder conocer este teatro cuando fui a ver el musical del Rey León. Desde la calle me pareció la típica entrada de un gran cine antiguo pero una vez dentro todo cambia. Molduras en techos y paredes, grandes y antiguas lámparas, suelos emmoquetados... todo un teatro clásico, bonito y bien cuidado. Vale la pena disfrutar de una obra en él.

I was very lucky to find this theater when I went to see the Lion King musical. From the street I found the typical entry of a large old movies but once inside everything changes. Moldings on ceilings and walls, centuries-old lamps, floor emmoquetados ... whole classical theater, nice and neat. Worth a work enjoy it.

Teatro que podemos encontrar en la Calle Gran Vía, número 57. Allí se pueden ver muchas obras. Aunque la más vista es el Rey León.
